Fall Semester 09

The semester is going pretty well so far. My portfolio class is quite challenging and pushing me out of the box into new unexplored territory. I am exploring Food photography/product/conceptual photography in my portfolio class. In my Fine Art class I am learning Still Life photography. Here are a few shots I've taken recently.

A New Year

It's a new year and the semester is over but another one is on its way towards the end of this month...no rest for the brain I suppose. The most recent thing I've been doing is setting up my address book in mac, talk about time consuming...but it's fun and its gotta be done. The last pictures I took were of family at Christmas. I got some cool new gadgets and software for my mac for Christmas, so those will be fun to play with when I have a free minute...which seems rare these days. Can't say that I made any new years resolutions because I usually don't because that's just a sure sign that they will get broke. But there are goals that I would like to accomplish this year such as; buy some groceries...ha ha, branch out our photography business more, look into stock photography, and the list goes on and on.

Web Design - A Stretching of My Mind

This has been a very intensive week. I've been frustrated, distressed, crying, drained and finally elated. Doing web design when you are just learning it along with learning a new program has been quite the challenge this week and this semester. Finals are upon me now and the website is loaded and live, although there is much work and tweaking to be done at least I can say I've given it my all and put in much blood, sweat, and tears to get to this point. I know it doesn't even begin to compare to many I've seen, but it's mine and my hard work and I'm proud of it...so enjoy! Come back often for it will be changing and getting better on a regular basis. I'm working on thumbnails for my photos now but it's taking time...so be patient.
